On April 1st, we'll be turning two! We're celebrating by having a special low price tournament, plus pizza, food, drinks, raffles and more! 

Time really does fly when you're having fun, and we've had a blast these past two years getting to know all of our wonderful customers, making friends, and bringing some unique products to Houston! 

So we're inviting all of you to come celebrate with us, because without your support, we'd be another small business statistic. You've helped turn us into a growing business with a bright future by your patronage, your word of mouth advertising, your advice and your expertise- so we really want to CELEBRATE YOU! How are we going to do that? See below and hope to see you all out at on Saturday!

ENTRY: $3 Venue for food/pizza/raffle OR $5 for tournament/food/pizza/raffle 
Venue fee covers food (cookies, chips/dip, etc) + pizza + drink + gets you in the raffle. If you want to just come and hang, you can do that for free, but I'll slap your hand if you try to grab a cookie :)

TOURNAMENT: PS All Stars 4 way tournament - top 2 advance, bottom 2 go to losers bracket. 5 minute matches with score displayed. Double elimination. Prizes: 24-32 entrants $100 gift card for winner. 16-23 entrants $75 gift card, 15 or less $50 gift card. 

GAMES: We'll have some other games set up on the side to win more raffle tickets or other prizes including Kidrobot x Street Fighter keychains! 

RAFFLES: We'll have a raffle at 9:00pm for over $200 worth of prizes. We'll be announcing some of those on our facebook soon. We hope to have some cool stuff from GamesPlus and Pizza Zone as well. 

On Saturday April 13th, we'll be holding our TENTH bi-monthly MUNNY contest! These are always fun and only come once every two months, so don't miss out!

Here's the rest of the details:

All designs are done in the store from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. You can show up late, or leave early but YOU MUST COMPLETE YOUR DESIGN WITHIN THE 4 HOUR TIME WINDOW!!

The event will be held in the store. You may bring TOOLS only (paintbrushes, blowdryers, knives etc) but NOTHING that will actually go on the toy itself. You may bring source material (pictures/prints) to draw from, but we will NOT print anything for you.

We will provide all necessary arts & crafts supplies including paint, brushes, markers, pens, glue, watercolors, and lots MORE! 

The cost is $12 which covers the toy ($9.99), supplies, clean up, and everything else! If you want pizza + drink, the cost will be $13. 

STRICT LIMIT OF 18 PARTICIPANTS DUE TO SPACE, so sign up soon! 
Participants must be between the ages of 5 and 95. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

3rd place: $10 GIFT CARD TO INSOMNIA

Judging is based on in-store balloting which takes place over the following week. Of course, when judging is over you may collect your toy! If you choose, you can take your toy with you at the end of the night if you're doing it for fun and aren't worried about the contest! MAKES A GREAT PRESENT AND THAT TIME OF YEAR IS FAST APPROACHING!

After skipping a few contests, Pablo returned in a big way, grabbing first place in our 9th MUNNY contest! He received the most first place votes and most points overall, edging out contest veterans Devyn (2nd) and Tuan (4th) along with two-time winner Angela (3rd). It was a really clean design, great concept and terrific execution. Congrats!

Omar's "Abominable Snowman" definitely didn't bite as this first time participant was voted first! He received the most 1st place votes and most total votes edging out two-time winner Angela who made an awesome Zero Suit Samus. Hot on their heals was first timer Jessica (Baby Peach) and contest veteran Devyn (Vanellope Von Scweetz). Congrats to our winners and thanks again to everyone who participated by either making a piece for the contest or voting on your favorites!

Huge Halloween party with lots of great costumes! We ended up forgoing our standard silent paper balloting in favor of a crowd noise style event- that was a lot of fun! Ultimately, the crowd voted with their voices on the following winners (from left): Rochellie and Lance as "Team Rocket Grunts" who took third, Tyrone as "Noob" from MK9 who took second, Alwyn as "Hobo-Bot" who won the grand prize, and Caleb as "Black Dynamite" who tied with Team Rocket Grunts for third. Again- thanks to all who came out in costume and made it such a fun time and congrats to the winners!

Our seventh MUNNY Contest saw a familiar face reaching new heights as consistent participant Josh finally crafted that perfect piece earning him first place in the in-store balloting. First time participant Carmen made "Arcanine" from Pokemon to place second while veteran Freddy placed for the first time earning third with his piece "Kill Bill vs. Game of Death." Our sixth ever MUNNY Contest saw a lot of new faces participating but ended with a familiar face winning it. Angela, our first MUNNY Contest winner, joined A.Tomic as the only two-time winners of the event making Phoenix from the Marvel vs. Capcom game series! Really great work and a run-away winner in the in-store balloting! Congrats!

Definitely a huge night for us as we kicked off the release of the 2012 Dunny Series by Kidrobot in style by raffling off our most expensive prize EVER! Everyone received one raffle ticket per blind box purchased. Tron bought a whole case, netting him 20 tickets, which actually wasn't even the most! His investment totally paid off as he held the winning ticket and he got to take home this $400 Dunny- the 20" Black Heart of Gold Dunny from artist Tara McPherson! 
Congrats again man! 

Bernie's original creation won by the narrowest of margins in our highest balloted contest yet- beating out Caitlyn by one point and past winner Angela by seven! The piece entitled "BURNie" features a character with a hot pepper and his over-the-top reaction to biting said pepper. Really creative! Congrats again!

Josie proved that a killer paint job can stand on its own, narrowly defeating past contest winner Angela and newcomer Jacory in our 4th MUNNY Contest! The Miami based artist was back in town for a few weeks and decided to put some of his skills on display! Congrats again!
